About
Pascal Molari
“Painting, sculpting, cooking: three ways of giving shape to the same appetite.”
Trained at the Beaux-Arts and the School of Applied Arts in Metz, then at the École Camondo in Paris, I first exercised my eye in interior architecture, alongside Jacques Quinet, and then throughout a career spent composing spaces, proportions and light. Painting never ceased to accompany me, on the side, like a journal kept away from commissions.
Since 2014, the studio has become the center. Oil and pastel for color and gesture, watercolor for light; clay, plaster and metal for volume. The face keeps returning, between figure and abstraction, a subject one never exhausts.
Cooking springs from the same impulse: materials, colors, a time of preparation, then the pleasure of sharing. The recipes gathered here are its natural extension.
